Wilson Way construction crew reviewing plans at a Louisville KY job site
How we work

Five steps. One team. From first sketch to keys in your hand.

A remodel is months of disruption. Our process is designed to make those months predictable — clear milestones, fixed costs, weekly updates, and a single team you actually get to know.

Consult
Week 1

A 30-minute walk through your space.

You meet the founders at your house. We start by sketching your ideas, taking measurements, and entering the details into our design platform form. From there, we take the time to research materials, pricing, and project details to develop a realistic estimate. Within about a week we'll send you the information to review and consider — no pressure, just a clear picture of what your project could look like.

What you get

Written budget range + rough scope, in your box within a week.

Our promise

No high-pressure sales. No bait-and-switch quote.

Concept
Weeks 2-4

Drawings, material picks, and a fixed scope.

Once you're comfortable with the rough scope, we produce real drawings (either our in-house draftsman or your designer), finalize the material list, and write a fixed-price contract. We walk you through every line. Change orders are written, signed, and priced before any work changes hands.

What you get

Signed contract + final drawings + fixed-price scope of work.

Our promise

You see every cost before you sign.

Cost
Days 1-7

Draw schedule based on project progress, not calendar dates.

You pay a small initial deposit, then 3-5 milestone draws tied to specific work completed (foundation poured, drywall hung, cabinets set, etc). The final 10% is held as a retainer until punch-list is done. You never pay for work that hasn't happened yet.

What you get

Draw schedule in your contract. Each draw has a clear trigger.

Our promise

You control the cash flow. We earn each draw.

Weeks 5-N

One team, one schedule, updates along the way.

Our crew does the work. Throughout the week you will receive updates: what got done, what's next, any schedule or cost changes. If something slips, you hear about it from us, not from a gap in the work.

What you get

Updates through the week.

Our promise

End-of-day cleanup is non-negotiable. You can keep living in your home.

Week of completion + 12 months later

Punch list and a 1-year warranty.

You walk the project and write the punch list. We fix everything on it within 5 business days. You get a written 1-year warranty on workmanship.

What you get

Punch list completion + 1-year warranty doc.

Our promise

We stand behind our work. If you experience a workmanship issue within the first year, call us. We'll come back, take a look, and make it right.

Why this matters

Remodels fail when there's no plan.

We've seen too many homeowners burned by contractors who quote low, change the scope mid-build, disappear when problems come up, and leave a mess behind. Our process is what we'd want if we were hiring someone to work on our own house — clear, honest, and accountable at every step.
